In my understanding, what refers to the the second most massive dinosaur, so the verb should employ singular.

本来这道我选D，但是我看了看讨论贴还是觉得应该选E，主要是因为歧义，不知道from 是修饰bones 还是found，另外就是关于appear，我觉得既然有存在the first ＋N。可用复数的情况，那么the second是不是也应该可以，如果可以，E就显得比较完美了，请NN指点一二

我觉得选d 有这方面的考虑，仔细看，d作者想表达的是通过发现骨头进而证明了恐龙，重心在于恐龙，而e通过非限定定语从句，只是松散的解释了骨头，没有强调恐龙，所以即使s有，d也是更好一点
