大全315

Framed by traitorous colleagues, Alfred Dreyfus was imprisoned for twelve years before there was exoneration and his freedom.

(A) there was exoneration and his freedom

(B) he was to be exonerated with freedom

(C) being exonerated and freed

(D) exoneration and his freedomC

(E) being freed, having been exonerated

问题一:be to be的用法对不对?

问题二:选项B 改为 he was exonerated with freedom,这样对不对?

be to be表示将来;

B即使要改,至少应该是he was exonerated from freedom,不过即便如此,B的意思也改变了A的原意,所以,还是错。

be to do sth; be going to do sth都是口语的说法,必然是错的。

be to do sth.

To speak habitually of the “truly needy” is gradually instilling the notion that many of those who are just called “needy” actually have adequate resources; such a conclusion is unwarranted.

be to do不见得是口语的说法.

These were to be the last works of Beetoven.

这个例子应该不同于Cicilla所说的be to do sth 与be going to do sth 。如果没有分析错,这个例子应该是 to do sth is to do sth 结构,不是表示将来的be to do sth结构。
