这个题目的e选项虽然有点绕，但是还是比较好选的，搂住可以利用“语义重复”和"所有格后加上动名词必错原则"来得出答案是e,e的句子结构是这样的；“attempt to metabolize, or render harmless, the
                chemical irritant ”中or render harmless和to metabolize平行，作为插入的部分，省略了to，后面的the
                        chemical irritant是metabolize的宾语，不知道og的解释是不是这样的。
