C错”tough leaves“和”escarole“ 叶子不能和一种蔬菜比较

D错我认为原为require ,动词优先于抽性名词的形容词和名词形式，即require >requirement

E 错， “lengthy cooking time”和蔬菜“escarole”不能比较

the是定冠词，是用来限制修饰后面的名词的，特别是名词本身就带了修饰成分（定语从句）
