B: 同上；it无指代

C: comparing用被动；it无指代

D: unlike 2000比较对象有歧义

对于这题的语法结构不是很清楚， 想请问一下答案E中的compared with 20 到底是和谁compare??

并且A选项只是根据compared to 与compared with排除吗，因为compare被动的时候其实compared to/with都可以用的，不管是同类比较还是异类比较，所以我觉得A肯定还有其他的错误，大家觉得呢？？

A选项我也觉得是when错，因为when只表示一个时间点。

但是E如果和35％比的话，为什么要加逗号呢，这样不是会让人误以为和主语the percentage of the population 的比较吗？

我只知道分词短语可以作主句的伴随状语修饰主句的谓语动词或者就近修饰其最近的动词.
