Consumer Behavior(PhD Marketing) at Cornell

Does anyone know how the reputation of Cornell is at consumer behavior in marketing PhD program? I might have to make decision between Cornell(wait list) and Maryland(offered) recently. When choosing school, I concern much on its training, faculty research and interest, and placement. However, it is not so easy to trully understand one's training by browsing program's website. As a result, I am asking anyone who can provide any insight about Cornell. Thx~~

Cornell ususally made long wait list. For example, there are 17 people in the waitlist for its Finance Phd. You have to make sure that you are really at the top of the wait list before you make the decision.

Thank you blsunday. As I know, there are only two people on the waitlist of Marketing filed. So I "might" have to face the situation mentioned.

Depend on your research interest. Don't know about the modeling faculty. For CB, personally, I think UMD is growing faster and has better potential. Although Cornell has some big names like Isen, but is fading I think.
