If you download the PS from the school application website, you will find that the word document is in a certain format. That means you need to adjust between the three big questions / several topics how much you want to talk abt each one of them. And the total length of the doc will NOT be able to exceed 2 pages including the space for the questions I suppose. Anyway, I wrote my PS exactly in 2 pages and didn't even waste a single line. Personally I do think it's easier to apply for this school if you are in the industry even if your function is technology / hr / operations / etc. at the early stage of your career (ie just finish ur 2nd yr when the semester starts). For career changers, probably you need to demonstrate / emphasize a bit more on why and why now. GMAT doesn't really count as long as you hit the bottom line of the school (probably 60% on both verbal and quantity i guess); GPA can be compensated by the reputation of your bachelor / highest degree school or your employer. The program again emphasizes a lot on your working experience when you compare it to the one at LSE but I have to say it offers me more choices over the electives in second yr of my studies and the network / alumni services is stronger / better than that of LSE so that for part-time degree course i'd recommend this one over the one at LSE even though the tuition at LSE is about 30% cheaper. They haven't yet closed the deadline for MiF PT class 2009. You definitely have enough time to go for it even if you start now. But the 2 yr studies in the future will definitely be tough and you will find a lot of conflicts of interests meantime...These are def. the cons of doing a PT. Hopefully I can get through it. Work hard, play harder...lol Just to make it clear, all these are my personal opinions and they do not represent any of the officials from school. Also I will recommend the part-time program at LSE without any doubt since it is a GREAT school with incredible alumni. My choice is based on my own case.
