答案是A。

有点疑惑，the recent extended sales slump ， recent 能够修饰extended sales slump ， 不应该用recently么？ extended 是形容词吗，按照答案的话，形容词（recent）和形容词（extended）就一块了。

recent 修饰slump，形容词当然可以连用的: an acient Chinese poetry

我认为这里用recent还是用recently要根据句意重心来判断，原文强调的是slump造成了problem，而没有强调extend这个动作，所以最好用形容词来直接修饰slump,而不是用副词去修饰extended

extended sales slump 應該把他們和在一起看成一個形容詞

所以用recent當形容詞形容這一整各名詞

可見我們有相同的疑問^ ^

修饰形容词用副词

修饰名词用形容词。

在这里recent是修饰sales slump的，所以不能用recently。

我觉得这个问题 和下面这题差不多 都是形容词 还是副词 修饰的问题

虽然形容词和形容词接在一块，但是还是要看实质，实质重于形式阿！
