这题为啥选B啊，the majority后面可以搭配are？，我觉得A和D貌似都没有太大问题，除了最后没有表示出一个将来的意思。谢谢大家指点啦

问题1）划线部分的前半句，A和B有什么区别？我知道句子的主谓不一样，但是从句子的表达意思来看都是一个意思啊。

(B) The majority of students entering law school this fall are expected to be women,

问题2）a trend 指的是前面半个句子，还是the majority?

问题3)我觉得D选项除了placing的问题，其它都挺好啊，尤其是it is ...，后面的a trend很明确就是指前面it引导的主语从句。
