答案是C，但是我觉得是E，我觉得C按照逻辑关系说不通啊，请牛人指点一下

这道题没有别的办法了,只能把句子看懂,从句意的分析,得出答案. 原文前面讲affordability, 说明的问题是middle-income的人越来越买不起(注意,这里不包含后面提到的rent的问题), 那么且不看连词究竟用谁, 选项的前一个分句these families can no longer afford to buy homes的意思是靠近afford的, 所以它要往前面靠, 逻辑关系是解释为什么hard-hit. 后面的开始讲另外一个问题: 租金又要涨价(隐含意思是: 本来就买不起房子了,那就只能租房子了, 可是现在连租都要成问题), 后面讲述的意思与前面有一定的转折关系,所以用连词yet比较好.

给rabbitbug MM一说，觉得就是那应该是那样，理所当然。当时我做题目的时候，怎么就觉得逻辑关系说不通呢？？？呵呵，脑子不好使啊

C中 yet 前是逗号，这样的话，此句子不是太长了么？为何不用 ; however ?

逻辑关系是这样的：since 后面解释的hard-hit的原因，第一个原因是买不起房子，第二个原因（furthermore,递进）租房都困难
