答案选E.
为什么不可以选C??前面都说了the first book, 这里怎么可以直接用the second, 我觉得为了保持平行，应该用the second one, 即用one 指代前面的book才对啊！！

我觉得a和e都比d好，又简洁意思又清楚。怎么就选上d了呢？？

3 记住题目中出现了only first之类的词最好不要改动位置！！！
claim to do或者claim that
it is believed 作差异做插入语，如同it is hoped

楼上善心人士，谢谢赐教，但是我还是有点想不通，我比较死脑筋，就是最后一题，我也知道it is believed是一个插入语，我只是想不通，为什么其他两个有错？？

答案选D.
我觉得a和e都比d好，又简洁意思又清楚。怎么就选上d了呢？？

(A) 根据题意,Quetzalcoatlus 才能 be the largest flying creature ,要注意逻辑意思的一致性, believed 有修饰 wingspan 的嫌疑,似乎说wingspan是 the largest flying creature ,故(A)错.
(e),时态错误,is 应该换成was.
