求教两道OG/GWD例题

如何判断主语是什么? 是-ing的一个动作,还是后面的名词?
Rising inventories, when unaccompanied correspondingly by increases in sales, can lead to production cutbacks that would hamper economic growth.

(A) when unaccompanied correspondingly by increases in sales, can lead
(B) when not accompanied by corresponding increases in sales, possibly leads
(C) when they were unaccompanied by corresponding sales increases, can lead
(D) if not accompanied by correspondingly increased sales, possibly leads
(E) if not accompanied by corresponding increases in sales, can lead
此题因为有can,所以lead必须原形;但如果没有can呢? 若主语是”Rising inventories”这个行为, 就是单数, 若是inventories就是复数, 到底是什么呢?

Noting that the Federal Reserve had raised a key short-term interest rate again last month, analysts said that they expected orders for durable goods to decline soon because rising interest rates makes it more expensive to buy them on credit
A. rising interest rates makes it more expensive to buy them on credit
B. rising interest rates make buying on credit more expensive

此题答案为B, 主语是 interest rates这个名词性的东西. 我选对了,但是是根据其他标准排除的,比如代词指代不明等, 就谁是主语这点,还是很糊涂, 望明白人的给点播点播啊!!!

第二句是说不断增长的利率导致blabla

可能还是要看句意的吧

第一题rising这应该相当是adj，主语是inventories

第二题cde的划线的主语是a rise 意思不对
