[讨论]进一步讨论Prep 29（YY_lalala请进）

看了YY_lalala对Prep 29的解答（http://forum.chasedream.com/dispbbs.asp?BoardID=23&replyID=2179100&id=232376&skin=0）。我有些疑问：

我今天再看杨鹏难句054：
the consumption of protein increase blood concentration
of the other amino acids much more, proportionately,
than it does that of tryptophan.

我觉得以上这句句子中的it指代the consumption of protein是不是也有同样的问题呢 ？同一个the consumption of protein既增加了前面又增加了后面。

请指点。也欢迎大家讨论。

没看过杨鹏的难句，没有前后文单看这个句子的话我是这样理解的：

the comsuption of protein increase blood cencentration of the other AA much more than it (the comsuption of protein) does (increase) that (blood concentration) of tryptophan.

就是同一个东西comsuption，带来两个效果，第一个比第二个严重。it指代comsuption没有问题
反而你可以比较一下后面那个that的用法，为什么用that指代concentration不用it？这才是区别所在
