不明白这个at once修饰问题: confronted as many changes at once与 confronted at once as many changes as…的区别是什么?at once应该只有一个词性,就是adv,不论作马上,还是一次性的意思讲,都应当修饰动词confronted.

at once都是修饰confronted,但是要注意它的位置

confronted as many changes是谓语+宾语,它们应尽可能的靠近,不要被其他成分分开,因此at once放在两者之间不好

中文也如此:我一下子看了20本书; 我看了一下子20本书  两个句子哪个好哪个坏中国人一看就明白,老外看这题也是如此

at once作为副词可以提前，但是前提是宾语很复杂,CHANGE THAT。。。。。什么的就可以

(C) at once as many changes that there were with

不对是因为B  many changes 和Tax Reform Act没有可比性，同理C也不对

A不对是因为SO AS只用在否定句中，这里不是否定句,只是用否定词表达了否定意思
