Don't understand the explanation from OG about the answer D:
Further, its presence in D leaves the it in when it is not without a logical referent: it must refer to condition, not presence.
In my thought," its" obviously refers to "condition's" ???

it 不能指代所有格里的，Tom's bike，he......就不对。he我指代对象。

感觉楼上的回答不正确,这里的问题是its指代condition's . 是否有NN能解释这个问题?

OG说这里的it指代前面的its presence.而根据逻辑应该指代condition. OG解释说选项D里的its presence的表达使得句末未划线部分里的it无合理指代对象.

前辈NN说的"前三词,后三词"原则,选项要顾及未划线部分的代词有指代对象.
