我才刚上大二，学的是会计。想问问哥哥姐姐们，去美国学会计专业必须要有工作经验吗？是不是北美不错的商学院所有的项目都要有两年的工作经验呢？谢谢你们啦！

你最好先工作几年，现在大二，2009年毕业，建议你2011或者2012年的时候申请。

The Accounting in UT Austin ranks No. 1 in the US, if I'm correct.

If you don't have any working experience but still want to apply MBA, you need to demonstrate your leadership experience elsewhere, such as in the university or in a team environment in your community etc to show your leadership skills and potential. But I would strongly recommend you have at least one year experience. I know one girl who completed her master in China and had one year working experience; she was admitted to Columbia finally.

Wow!So you mean the extracurricular activity play significant role in my application.But as to working experience,what enterprise do you recommend to me?The big four,or something like that?

My meaning is if you really want to pursue MBA without working experience, then you have to demonstrate your leadership in other ways, such as activities in your university or in your local community. As for the companies, it's really up to you to decide where you want to work. MBA students are from very diversified areas; not only big 4. Besides, MBA is not the final destination; it's one step in your long journey to reach your destination. What do you care most? What are you passionate about? You're still very young... When were you born? 1988? I do feel old now...

Think about if you do need an MBA and then do whatever you can to demonstrate that you are outstanding enough to get into top 10.

Dont focus too much on career at this stage. Your GPA, your leadership in college life and your extra-curricular activities can help you stand out from peers.
