I would recommand that you take the microeconomics. I did not take any finance courses since I did not have enough time. If you have time, u might consider take stochastic process or stochastic calculus if your interest is asset pricing. Publishing physics papers will not help you because business professors generally know nothing about physics. If u r now doing simulations, u may have better chance. Take the Gmat if you have time. And get support from your advisor. Try to apply more than 15 schools. I only applied 8 and now I am very regretted for having applied so few but I was lucky at last.
