[求助]关于主谓一致

今天看了800score作文指导，看到一段主谓一致的语法要求：

Collective nouns, such as family, majority, audience, and committee are singular when
they act in a collective fashion or represent one group. They are plural when they act as
individuals.

也即要求集合体名词在强调整体时候表单数，强调个体时候表复数。

它给了个例子：The jury were in disagreement.

我想请问这个说法在SC里面是否是正确的主谓一致呢？

集合体名词做整体用单数做个体时候用复数应该在哪里都适用。

The jury were in disagreement. 这个例句也很好，要体现jury里众多人的不同意见。而GMAT要求逻辑至上，所以这里point was well taken。
