Well, not all the indians are the same. Just as not all the chinese are the same, not all the americans are the same. Quite contrary to the experiences the previous posts indicate, I had wonderful experiences working with Indians: very nice people and very intelligent people. The Indians I had FORTUNE to work with were highly focused on collective objectives and highly intelligent. They were very diligent and able to keep the large picture in their minds. One case is that one Indian guy who was born in US and educated both in Indian and US was very proud of Indian heritage and he was doing many things to make his kids have as many exposure to Indian culture as possible. And btw, he did move back to Indian. (Like many other Jewishes moving back to Israle.) The point I am trying to make is that each of us all had different experiences at dealing people from different background and different culture. And any of our individual cases is very likely not the whole story. Cheers |
