一道白勇语法题，NN给看看吧◎

Alaska  regularly  deposits  some  of  its  profits  from  the  sale of oil a special  fund , with the intention to sustain the state's economy  after  the exhaustion of its oil reserves .

想问问NN们。 其他的选项就不说了，就是单单问  为什么选 C  不选 D 。 多谢了啊

我的看法：

由于sustain和exhausting这两个动作的行使者不是同一个主体，因此不能这样表述。

俺觉得

 fund  intended to sustain the state's  economy after  exhausting  its oil reserves

这个exhausting的主语是Alaska，所以应该可以after+doing,感觉貌似错的是its oil reserves,看前面Alaska  regularly  deposits  some  of  its  profits  from  the  sale of oil a special，有个its profits from ...这个its profits和后面的its oil reserves的its是完全不一样，感觉这个its应该指的是sale profit?...其他同学帮忙分析下。同困惑。。。

我觉得是这样，在这题中after是引导的时间状语从句，所以应该是完整的主谓结构，而非分词短语

其次讲到石油，隐含着被动的关系，应该是石油被消耗，而非其本身自己消耗尽，所以应该用V过去分词表示被动，

所以是C不是D
