求教关于哈佛推荐信的一个问题

求教关于哈佛推荐信的一个问题

请教,哈佛推荐信有好几个问题,是让推荐人挨个儿回答呢,还是放在一封连贯的长信里回答。大家都是怎么处理的。

如果你的推荐人没时间,准备一封信的形式也行,不过最好包括一些比较常见的问题:领导才能,团队艺术,个性等等。。。

Thanks so much, Yaoyao, I've been waiting for you.

You mean answer the questions one by one? That must be very time consuming for the recommender.

And do they have to give example for every question? For instance, when they answer the strenth and weakness question, is it ok to say it in general. if the answer is less than 250 words, is that OK?

I really appreciate your effort. I noticed you've been so helpful to so many CDers. Is there other ways to reach you?

So that means you can either answer the questions one by one or write in a general letter?

Just post your questions here.  I'll try my best to answer them when I'm around.

The online application has pretty strict word limits.  You won't be able to paste the entire letter in there.  I would recommend doing whatever you can to follow their requirements.  If they ask specific questions, your recommender should be able to answer them.  I would say a few specific points followed by convincing examples is better than a laundry list of good words.
