[考场] 1215 LA 心得

今天第一次考IBT在加州Anahiem, 他媽的濫考場, 爛ETS, 收了$150卻提供爛設備跟環境

最可惡的是監考官自己的手機響個不停.....專業一點好不好!!! 座位間連個隔板都沒有, 只是一般的電腦教室罷了.

氣死人了~~~~~~~~~~~~    死ETS根本就在欺負外國人~~~~~~~~~~

決定寫封信去ETS罵各痛快~~~~~~~~~~

今天的考題跟中國1215的考題完全不一樣, 虧我早上還爬起來狂準備機經 昨晚又睡不著

偏偏reading又給我加試, 害我差點沒做到眼睛脫窗!!

Listening:

學生到dormity office拿取room key, but 他的行李遺失在飛機場and他到office時已經是下班時間(Q: why does student go to office after office hour? select 2 answer) officer ask his student ID for sign in the room, but he didn't have. ........Finally, officer suggest him to live in the conference center likes a small hotel.(有題)

student ask the officer for school bus. He want to take a bus to airport for free, but officer ask him extra fee. Then, he ask about the bus schedule.....後面忘了

3. passage: 學校停車位不夠, 所以學校要限制大二以上及研究所學生的車位給大一新生, 學校認為根本的問題是校內交通太擁擠, 所以希望學生能夠搭公車上學. listening: the man checked the only 85 freshmen applied the parking permit. He thinks the parking lot is enough now because only increasing 85 people for parking. However, he suggest university creates more parking space for a long term solution.

剛才寫信去ETS complain了. as follows:

Today I took a IBT test in Anahiem, CA and I have a lot of complaint about it. The test place is just a formal computer lab and it is so terrible because there is no any partition to separate every seat. I could see another screen in front of me, also other people behind me could see my screen. The noise from other test takers was so annoying, so I was hard to concentrate on the test. In addition, the proctor's cell phone was ringing several times. He only asked test takers to turn off thier phone, but he didn't do it. Moreover, he was so annoying when he took a picture for test takers and speak with regular volume. I think the computer for taking picture should be set at out of the test room. Furthermore, the chair was so uncomfortable. If ets requires a long period test and costly test fee, you should provide a good enviornment for test takers. An annoying and uncomfortable environment could cause test takers fail the test. It is unfair to us. After finishing the test, my back was painful. I though maybe ets doesn't care foreigners' health. Don't you know sitting too long is harmful? In my opinion, I don't understand why ets ask foreign students should take a such hard test for enrolling school. Many students have talent at their major, but they couldn't study in a good university by the picky TOEFL. More and more people would consider to study in China because China is a huge market. Then, people will less come and study in the U.S. because the picky and costly TOEFL.
Indeed, I hope you could improve your test places and quality. Please don't only ask for money, but never offer a fair service.
