LZM 语法改错精解上的一道题

E5-17   The lawer for the defense charged that she suspected the police of having illegally taped her confidential conversations with her client and then used the information obtained to find evidence supporting their murder charges.

(A) used the information obtained to find evidence supporting

(B) used such information as they obtained to find evidence supporting

(C) used the information they had obtained to find evidence that would support

(D) of using the information they had obtained to find evidence that would support

(E) of using such information as they obtained tofind evidence that would be supportive of

答案是 D。 

但是，我认为应该是 A 正确 。  因为，used the information he 前边的illegally taped her confidential conversation 是并列的谓语作 the police of having illegally 中 of 的宾语。supporting their murder charges为现在分词短语做定语修饰evidence.  从逻辑上讲本句的含义是：The lawer.... suspected the police of having taped..... and used the information.....        Obtained 的意思其实就是 illegally taped

而如果D正确，意思逻辑也有问题，

11-51 Visitors to the park have often looked up into the leafy canopy and saw monkeys sleeping on the branches, whose arems and lesgs hang like socks on a clothesline.

(A)  saw monkeys sleeping on the branches, whose sarms and legs hang

(B)  saw monkeys sleeping on the branches, whose arms and legs were hanging

(C)  saw monkeys sleeping on the branches, with arms and legs hanging

(D)  seen monkeys sleeping on the branches, with arms and legs hanging

(E)  seen monkeys sleeping on the branches, whose arms and legs have hung

答案为 D  在这个句子中 seen monkeys.....（seen 前边省略了have) 和have often looked up .... 并列做Visitors to the park 的并列谓语。

为什么11-51 题正确，而E5-17不对？

请高人指点。

个人谈一下对E5-17的想法

觉的A并非如此的简单，

应为used可与多个动词并列，如 charged ， suspected ，taped 且主语不一致一个是The lawer for the defense ，一个是 the police ，可见这样的并列是有歧义的。

但是解释的时候只针对其中的一种情况说的话也是说的通的。

再来看D，of using只能与之前的of having并列。并列唯一，没有歧义。

11-51 主语唯一，谓语并列没有歧义。
