不是很懂A中 it 指的是什么，看帖子都说是substance，为什么我觉得可以指代为technique...= = 求NN解答！！

不可以指代technique，指代substance。定语从句修饰技术的名称，含义上破坏技术也不合理。

这种技术可以分析substance的化学成分而不破坏substance。

从逻辑上我可以理解，但是语法上还是有点晕。。。without destroying it里面的destroying的主语是technique吗？为什么可以是technique？？without destroying it 算不算插入语？！跪求！！谢谢！！

Without destroying it 不算插入语，without在这里是一个介词，与主句共享一个主语的，如：I help you without asking for any rewards. 所以without destroying it 的主语是which，而which指代前面的proton induced x ray emission, 其实和technology是一回事啦。
