请问学校会打电话给推荐人吗? 如果我写我在工作中所做的某件事而恰巧我的推荐人不知道该怎么办呢?

You should communicate that with your recommender. Most likely the school will ask about what he/she wrote, not what you wrote though.

They might. You never know. Depending on the school, some have contacted other people's recommenders before.
