解释里面有一段话说"The pronoun which introduces nonrestrictive clauses, which include information relevant but not critical to an understanding of the sentence. The pronoun that introduces a restrictive clause, which is critical to understanding the sentence because the clause defines its antecedent. Here, the clause following which defines heat-exchange network, so that must be used in place of which. "

我想问一下，which不是也可以引导限制性定语从句嘛？为什么这里一定要that替换which啊？难道如果有which keeps就不选这项么？

另外，在另一道题的解释中说，非限制性定语从句中关系代词which要immediately follow its referent，是这样的么？

13.As Hurricane Hugo approached the Atlantic coast, it increased dramatically in strength, becoming the tenth most intense hurricane to hit the United States mainland in the twentieth century and most intense since Camille in 1969.

(A) most intense since Camille in 1969

于是我就不明白了什么时候可以省略the,什么时候不可以省略呢？为什么这个题中前面有个the tenth most所以后面就必须是the most intense，是跟那个序数词有关么？另外，the most frightening and most intense这句既然第二个the都省略了，可不可以省略第二个most呢？

which 可以引导限定性定语从句，在og后面的例子里会见到。which keeps 也对

限定性或非限定性引导词需紧跟其修饰的引导词，绝大部分情况不允许跳跃，但是如 a of b that that clause 也可能修饰 a 非 b, 但可以通过从句中的动词的单复数形式判断修饰对象。极少数题里也出现了 a, + 介词结构, + which clause 从句跳过了介词结构修饰了 a

To use "which + clause", you are gonna need a comma right before which, such as" ,which"

关于省略的问题，我找了很多语法书，都只有概述而没有专门针对逻辑判定的省略结构的讲解。我自己的理解是，省略只是让句子结构变得清晰，简洁，不能有任何歧义产生，一旦有一点点可能让句意歪曲的可能，就需要补充完整。上面那道题目中，是the tenth most... and the most...，如果省略the，就可以说是第十大最......和非常......的，意思改变。而

the most frightening and most intense中most我觉得是可以省略的，不知道大家看法如何。
