求救一道gwd的语法～～～～

我觉得这个题目没有正确答案，虽然很多版本都说E是对的

我觉得E不对

首先缺少and作为连词

其次就算补上and 前面So dogged were Frances Perkins’ investigations of the garment industry是一个完整的句子，后面so persistent her lobbying for wage and hour reform只是一个词组  句子和短语不能并列啊~~

那到底应该是什么？？

如果是A的话，会不会so that结构就被破坏了呢？

有的时候，因为对仗太工整，读者会预料到后面的内容而省略谓语，不知道在这里是不是适用。曾经看到过一个这样的句子的，忘记了。
