但是根据一般做题的经验，会排除这样的选项。

我记得新东方的老师讲过：GMAT所考的时态中，现在时态之间可以混用，所以一般现在时可以与现在进行时混用．

而且，while引导的是从句，如果others后面接by的话，就没有主句了，因为and还一味着平行并列的关系。

不知道我说的对不对。
