Attic弟兄是我们CBSF的成员，他在去年的申请当中先后被Stanford和Yale waiting listed，同时也被USC，Georgetown和UC Irvine录取，现在他已经是USC(Marshall)的一年级学生了。非常感谢他能在一年级的学业繁忙中抽出时间来，为今年申请的朋友们提供一些有关这三所商学院的信息。

我们初步准备采取以下的方式来进行：

1。如果有对这三所学校的包括申请或者一般学校情况的问题，请大家在后面跟贴；
2。Attic会在每个周末抽时间来回答大家提出的问题；
3。如果有特别紧急的问题需要帮助的，可以和我联系，然后我会通知Attic。我想现在离开申请的deadline还有很长一段时间，因此我希望大家还是以跟贴提问为主。

Does USC-Marshall provide loans that do not need a co-signer to international students? How is life at Marshall? Competitive or Cozy? What's the senario of its placement, especially the success of placing international students?

***Yes. The amount is $10k per year w/ interest rate of about 8% for 20303-2004, no co-signer required

How is life at Marshall? Competitive or Cozy?

*** Challenge and Cozy. Totally exceed my expectation.
COZY: Both the faculty and staff, and alumni tread you as a member in a big family for day one. Nothing better than the feeling of home. That is one of many, many amenities I am deeply impressed to Marshall.

Challenge: You would have endless social events for you to buildup your networks, and mountains of reading from your professors. Average sleeping time among my coremates is about 4-5 hours per day.

What's the senario of its placement, especially the success of placing international students?

As of the placement, although it is still tough, it seems to get better and better now. If you want to have a privilege to work in so. California or Pacific Basin Area. Marshall is second to none. However, if you are both an international and Career changer, you will need to put much, much more effort for job searching whatever school you R in. One of my friends from HBS Graduated this year still look for jobs; another, while a top 5 from Wharton, not yet get a satisfied job offer.

I hope the info could provide some hints for USC Marshall. Any other questions, pls feel free to post here, I will try my best to offer my suggestions.

Marshall specially emphasis your leadership and global view and international experience, as you can perceive from its famous Prime Program. As far I I know, Marshall adcom is very kind and generous to our Chinese app (more than half apps for Mainland China had fellowship for half tuition waiver. Don’t tell others, this is confidential

Actually I wanted to apply for Marshal because I love the city of L.A. and I know one aluminus of it,but heard that they admits only less than 5 from Mainland.I balked at that.But what you said encouraged me.Do you have any idea of how many Chinese student they would consider to intake from Mainland? I wil also keep it confidential
