一堆OG问题

1）37题中,c的解释说so x as to y 是错的。是不是永远错？
2）表目的 in order that 这种说法可以吗？表目的： in order to , so that ,
3) 分词做定语，是不是时态的，n，done 是不是表示过去的
4) 50题，the gains reflect growing confidence that the economy will avoid the recession that many had feared earlier in the year and ...为什么用had feared 过去完成？表过去的过去？？
5）59题说 in that 是stilted and overly formal，难道以后就不用in that 表原因了？
6）66题，为什么as big as不对呢？ grow as big as 30 feet long
7) 67题， affording strategic proximity to the Strait of Gibraltar, Morocco was also of interest to the French. 前面半句什么意思？
8）current 和currently 的关系？currently 可做adj?

MM小建议，
（1）一个问题一个贴啊。
（2）贴问题的时候把题目也贴出来方便NN们解答啊。
BTW 发帖前也可以用题号搜索下前人的讨论，会有些已有的解答可以解释你的问题，你也不用等啊。
