答案：B 为什么？？？caused by用在这修饰什么呢？感觉D、E结构上更合理。哪位知道请解释一下。谢谢了！

我也认为答案应该是E.

B中caused 修饰dancers and gymnasts ,明显逻辑意思不合理。
从上下文意思判断是因果关系，E 与D 比较，E的表达更清楚。D一上来就是they，读者要到后面才知道所指，而E一开始就提出了主要人物dancers and gymnasts ，我觉得更合理些。

有点从语感出发，不知对否。欢迎讨论。
