to the best of my knowledge, I could not agree with lester's opinion I think both "nearly 4 times more likely than" and "nearly 4 times as likely as" are correct use of it's respective phrase. The reason why C is incorrect is because it's missing "are" after "as likely as" moutain A is 3 times higher than is mountain B (or moutain B is) moutain A is 3 times as high as is moutain B(or moutain B is) both should work please correct me if I am wrong. |
