这道题根据时间状语选择时态是不会有问题的,但是OG的解释让我很疑惑,"the two clause about soup operas should be parallel"也就是说operas .....in the 1920's和they had moved ......年1930's 要平行,这个有什么依据么?

没有什么特别的缘由 英语习惯就是讲究平行 一可以方便理解 二可以句式工整 利于美观

那岂不是英语里最好的文章就是通通用排比句?

反正这题按照时态选不会有问题,我就是唯恐有出现个规则说:状语从句,主句和从句也要平行的,就晕死了

D 选项中说的，prepositional phrases are not parallel是什么意思呢？

就是说although引导的介宾短语不与主句平行？
