问个关于insead申请的问题

如果申请9月份入学失败,是不是可以申请第二年的1月入学?

Theoretically you can do that.

But practically, the problem is how you can show the school that you've got enough improvements in your career or study in just 3 months.

I had a question for the Admissions Committee about reapplying. Is it better to apply in a later round and, if rejected, reapply next year? Does that perseverance earn any extra consideration from the Admissions Committee?

Adcom: 
Jennifer - we do not encourage reapplications.

Jennifer:
Caroline, what if you see an applicant who has potential but there simply isn't room for him this year - perhaps he even made it to the waitlist. Even those applicants are discouraged from reapplying?

Adcom:
  
Jennifer - we normally discourage rejected candidates from reapplying, but we are happy to receive reapplications from waitlisted applicants.

Samir :

If one was rejected because of lack of seats while applying in the third round for say Sept 2006, will that person be denied the opportunity to apply for the the first round of January 2007?

Adcom:
  
Samir - not if one was waitlisted. In any case we never "refuse" reapplications, but we don't "encourage" them from rejected candidates.
    

所以，除非是被W/L的，不然还是不要去申请了。

This is a little weird, you know, normally schools declare that they welcome all kinds of reapplicants...but INSEAD must be very honest on this issue, or it really has high confidence on the first time evaluations.

那就申请1月的,不行再申请9月的,中间有大半年了

为什么会得出这样的结论？

上面的信息说的很清楚，INSEAD是喜欢把人一棒打死的，一旦拒了一个人，就不给这个人翻身的机会了。

所以没有准备好不要随便尝试。

不一定的,否则就不会招reapplicant了

不过尽量不要被bs,这个道理是肯定正确的
