D为什么不对? 感觉后面from是修饰people. 不是different   这题考点好象很朦胧.

我觉得基本是这个结构

D：

The investigations of many psychologists and anthropologists
        support the generlization 【that there is little that is significantly different in the underlying mental processes manifsted by people from different cultures】

感觉意思是，PA的调查支持一个概要，那就是，不同的文化之间存在着很少也是很重要的不同（在潜在的被人们证明的精神活动方面）

E：

The investigations of many psychologists and anthropologists
        support the generlization 【that there is little of significantly differences in the underlying mental processes manifsted by people from different cultures】

E的错误有3个，

1.little of differences中of没有必要，直接就little difference

2.little of differences中，little描述不可数名次，但是呢difference【即可数，也可以不可数】可以参见longman：

不可数：

difference between
The main difference between the groups was age.There's a big difference between knowing that something is true, and being able to prove it.

可数：

Researchers found a number of important differences in the way boys and girls learn.

3.the underlying mental processes manifested by people from different cultures的理解有问题。（【在被来自不同cultures的人证明的潜在的精神活动方面】没有重要的不同）好像挺怪的。什么和什么没有不同？？？

there is little that is significantly different in the underlying mental processes manifsted by people from different cultures

可以简化为：

there is little（no） different from different cultures

is little of significantly differences in the underlying mental processes manifsted by people from different cultures】

感觉还是要 be difference between 或者among differnet cultures

1.   different in is not right.  but difference in  is correct.

2.   in D, there is another problem ---让人误解为"different from".  in this sentence,  ... by people (who are) from different cultures  is reasonable.

3.   little of significant differences is correct because "little" is a quantifier here.  for example:  0.0001 of significant differences.

E is the best.

还是不太懂. 我当时做的时候觉着有  little of importance的用法.

而且我觉得D的from 是有歧义的.离people更近. 如果要表示不同文化间的差异,应该用among比较好吧. from用法: A is different from B. A和B是相对对等的两个事物. Ｄ不对等啊？

再着：that is +adj 有点wordy吧．

具体的想不起来了，好像上课的时候SHILIN说过，SIGNIFICANT（重要的），SIGNIFICANTLY（极大地） 不能简单的说前者是后者的形容词形式

他告诉我们 SIGNIFICANTLY 出现不能动，不能换成形容词形式

“形容词和副词的转义，原文用哪个就用哪个”
