The Bristol Enterprise Programme offers an MSc in Entrepreneurship to enable students to contribute fully to the growth of innovative business enterprises. The programme is academically rigorous, yet includes a strong practical bias. It addresses a wide range of managerial, business and financial skills, but always seeks to emphasise the importance and application of entrepreneurial skills.
The MSc degree dissertation could comprise a fully developed business plan for a real life entrepreneurial venture. In undertaking this work, students will have access to expert advice and assistance, and will produce a report of a high academic standard that also satisfies the requirements of venture capitalists considering funding for new business opportunities. In approved cases, students may have access to seed-corn funding and business incubation space to launch their commercial ventures. This postgraduate programme is directed at those seeking an outlet for their entrepreneurial instincts. It aims to provide them with the full range of business skills necessary to maximise the likelihood of success, while encouraging the development of entrepreneurial characteristics. Structure The postgraduate programme is based upon a three-stage MSc degree programme.
Stage 1 of the programme leads to a postgraduate Certificate after 60 credits of taught units. Stage 2 further requires the completion of one of the 20-credit taught units and a 40-credit dissertation, and leads to a postgraduate Diploma. Stage 3 leads to the MSc degree and requires an additional 40 credits of taught units from the Stage 2 and the Stage 3 lists and a 60-credit dissertation.
About the course
Stage 1 - Business Basics for the Entrepreneur Students take the following compulsory units (all 10 credits each):
- Marketing and Commercial Management
- Accounting and Legal Issues for Entrepreneurs
- Exploiting New Ideas
- Understanding Entrepreneurial Organisations
- Risk analysis and Management
- Business Start-Up
Stage 2 Understanding the Business Optional units (20 credits each): Entrepreneurial Strategy; Managerial Competencies and HR; Factors in Entrepreneurial Organisations; Dissertation (40 credits) Stage 3 Moving the Business Forward Elective units (10 credits each): Business Finance and Funding; Management of Change and Growth; Entrepreneurship in Large Organisations; Public Sector Entrepreneurship; Dissertation (60 credits)
Entry requirements
The programme is open to graduates of any discipline with either a good Honours degree or an equivalent professional qualification and preferably some business experience. Those unable to satisfy these requirements fully may be admitted to the diploma programme and then progress to the MSc Degree on successful completion of Stages 1 and 2. A strong academic background and IELTS 7.0 （6.5分估计读个语言课程）

工作经验不要求，偶大学毕业后申请
小班教学，一般上课大概10个人左右。有几个part-time students
除我们三个中国人以外，其余为英国人
u of Bristol综合排名top10 (学校在中国可能不太听说，但在英国地位很高）
另外，这个课程属于engineering management 下面
但是课程类似mba，对于想创业或者背景非经管而进一步学习管理知识的人比较有用。
课程注重实践，very intensive.作业比较多
一般一个module连续上一周（周一至周五，从上午到下午）然后布置作业（基本没考试，通过比较容易，拿高分就没那么简单），休息一周再继续下一个module.
福利：
上下午各有一次coffee time.提供茶和咖啡，当然免费
同学人少，交流机会多。常一起吃饭，去pub （理想中的B-school life)
