关于“介词＋所有格＋ing”的用法

OG上有很多这种用法都是错的

白勇的说上说这种用法一定错，但是在张道真的书上就有这种用法的例子。

求教一下到底这能不能作为错误排除啊

178. In the last few years, the number of convicted criminals given community service sentences. which allow the criminals to remain unconfined while they perform specific jobs benefiting the public, have risen dramatically.

(A)  sentences, which allow the criminals to remain unconfined while they perform specific jobs benefiting the public, have

(B)  sentences, performing specific jobs that benefit the public while being allowed to remain unconfined, have

但是张道真的书说“介词＋ing”结构中间可以加所有格指示逻辑主语。

我的问题是，我们此结构在GMAT考试中是不是一个绝对错误的结构

这题D和E的区别并不是介词短语用的对不对，而是D中的in their performing of中performing是动名词，比E中直接用动词wordy

我的理解是这样的in sb's doing,doing是动名词，在这里充当名词使用，但是perform有自己的名次形式即：performance所以不用让动名词去帮他完成任务。

og里有很多都是改用名次的时候，用动名词取代了名次的位置，所以不简洁---〉错。

至于说sb's doing是否正确，我不能下定论。非常清楚地记得高考时的语法点：

mind doing=mind sb doing=mind sb's doing

这里的情况和上面不一样，mind sb doing=mind sb's doing是衍生出来的，而且这里本就强调动作。

但是需要nn确认，因为gmat的很多知识点都和高中语法点不一样！：）

LZM 说 BECAUSE OF ON ACCOUNT OF 后面只能跟名词如果有所有格修饰的动名词就是错的

是的，张道真的书也说过prep＋sb doing是从prep +sb's doing简化来的

但是我们是否在Gmat考试中看到两个结构就排除选项呢

有人看到过这两种结构出现在正确答案中的吗?

我同意张道真的说法,不仅仅是GMAT的语法,现在改版的高中新教材都出现了这一用法.

eg: With Mr.Ade taking the lead, the decided to set up a trading company.
