I'm very pleased to receive the admit email from Marshall this morning. Thrilled especially after dinged by some others.
My background:
Female; GMAT:730/4.0; TOFEL:637/5.5; Graduated from level 1 university in Beijing, a top ranked student; 7 years working experience on Marketing field in multinational companies in Beijing.
I got many lessons from the MAB application. First, don't feel it's easy as you see so many were admitted by top 5 on CD. Be realistic when you choose your schools in terms of their concentration, your strength and weakness, and your future. Second, don't feel frastrated even some of the dream school were unable to offer you. In life, not all of your dream would come true. I believe that I would never regret if I strived for my best. Last but not least, School rank is something matters; however, it's not all about MBA. I believe that to go abroad to pursue an MBA is something about my life experience--to be together with diversified classmates in terms of culture, age, working background. MBA is something to open my world view.
Marshall is my great chance to pursue my dream about MBA. The big city location, fancinating weather, and Pacific Rim focus do matter to me. Share my happiness with you guys.
I notice that there are small number of applicants coming from marketing field. I'm open to questions if any.
Wish that every CDer's dream comes true.
Good luck!
