admitted to duke

Got notified by email this morning beijing time. And there is another email inviting me to join the chat group of duke at yahoo which is only open to admitted students and current students. I didn't notice the other email when I tried to log in my application website with some worries about my status. I should have been more relaxed if I had read that email first.

A bit about me:

Canada PR, G760 with experience in international business. Current employer is a Shanghai Office of US company, which is not among Fortune 500. And my undergraduate education was not a top school as well.

Duke was the first school I interviewed with. My performance was not as good as expected. And I feel that my essays have played a pivotal role in differentiating me. My recommendations and PR status might also help a bit.
