I just got a call from Smeal (PSU) and knew that I got admission and a full graduate assistantship. It's the most wonderful gift of the new year. I am so happy. And that's the great end of my application this year. Thanks for CD and wish good luck to all CDers!
hehe, thanks! I got my B.E. and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University. G:760/4.5, T:623/6.0, 3 years of startup software company experiences, technology management related responsibilities.
I know that some guys with Ph.D. apply for MBA now. And what I want to say is that ph.d is not a disadvantage. If you can explain your background and career objective well, it can convert to an advantage. At least, you have different backgrounds with other applicants.
how come you only got 4.5 AWA while you got 6.0 in TOFEL writing? I thought you should have got higher score. Anyway, good test scores. Full scholarship is good. Congratulations.
