除非你这几封推荐信没有什么区别。我去年申请一个学校，我就是多寄了一封，然后，他们自作主张给我扔了一封，后来网上显示的，而且是最关键的一封。
I don't think it means the school threw the recommendation letter away. Sometime, in online application system, the space is limited, so not all recommender can be shown.
The school might limit the quantity of the recommendation letters; however, no school limits supplementary materials. I think, unless the school specially mentions that only 2 or 3 recommendation letters can be accepted, one more recommendations should be fine.
This is what I guess. It might not be true.
