548 的答案是D，我选的是A。不太理解D的making do 的说法。赐教！

575 的答案是E，我选的是B。为何要用复数形式来做对称呢？money是不可数的呀。

548：A选项中的it无指代；B选项中，used和did连用，中间用逗号连接，缺连词；C中的them究竟是指前文中提到的settlers还是homes，指代不明；

E中使用的被动形式，不如D的主动形式好。所以只能选D。而D中的make do with/without 是个习惯搭配，意为：“在有/没有sth.的情况下勉强应付”

B和D的差别，和money无关，而是worker/workers的反身代词。B选项里，若是把oneself改为himself，我想就比较好了。
