ETS对OG中解释的句子自己都会犯语法错误啊！

今日看OG逻辑204题的解释时发现，ETS的解释居然在语法上犯了它自己所认为的错误。

Based on the success of the discount offer over the summer, the manufacturer plans to extend the same offer for
the fall quarter.

based on修饰的应该是manufacturer's plan 而不是manufacturer吧！

看OG语法第11题。

In choice A, the introductory clause beginning Based on modifies scholars, the noun that immediately follows it:
in other words, A says that scholars were based on the accounts of various ancient writers.

ETS还特别强调了这种错 误，结果它自己却在逻辑的解释中犯同样的错误，看来ETS对考生和自己采用双重标准啊

呵呵，楼主不必太介意，RC里面这种情况更多。
