先不说where是否用的对，there were cultural influences transmitted表达就有问题，there be 后面尽量不要接抽象名词，在G中，一般接具体的名词(there are many dogs)；

再说where和through which，前者只是表达一种大概的方位，而后者更能表达出通过该走廊传播的意思，GMAT中尽量不要出现这种表达含糊的；

你所列举的那个题中不仅仅有there be 的问题，而是存在从句省略的问题，语法错误无法一一列出！

白勇书：there be在G中只表示自然存在。

从简洁和有效上说，there be+ 形容词转化的名词＝形容词，there be+动词转化的名词＝动词，统统不简洁。（还有什么其他抽象名词？）

请问E为什么不对 可以做定语从句修饰corridor 还有相对于B ，E为主动形式不是更好吗

我觉的influences 应该和between...and...连用保证逻辑的通畅，D选项有什么大错误呢？望NN指正
