OG第50题，关于虚拟语气

题目是全划线的，就不全部打出来了，答案也能选出来，只是对于其中的虚拟语气有点不解。

A baby emerges from the darkness of the womb with a rudimentary sense of vision that would be rated about 20/500; an adult with such vision would be deemed legally blind.

我记得虚拟语气是不能这样直接用在句子中的，而且在第一个分句中，a baby with a sense of vision that would从时态上看，和前面的emerges是不一致的，如果说是虚拟语气，那似乎是说这个事情是不真实的。但是我觉得这是一个事实的陈述，然后从事实推出一个结论 such vision will be rated about 20/500，根据OG对于其他题的解释，要conclude的时候，应该用将来时态，就是will。

would有一些词义是will没有的，即（确定的结果）将会，常常会，可能会，习惯性地会，这时候用would表结果而不能用will。

还是不明白，所有解释的例句都发生在if从句或者含有wish之类的虚拟语气指示词的条件下表示虚拟。如果不是表示虚拟，那就要有过去时态在其他的分句或者平行结构来指示应该用would。I would直接使用的话看解释，都是用在口语中。

石林说，在gmat中would常表示为will的过去时。
