SC考点笔记-简介
1. 本贴目标：以笔记的形式总结每一种SC考点，以及错题

从现在开始题目会慢慢开始难起来
比较级是lz错最多了的提型之一了，今天终于好好整理了一遍，再错就是^(*￣(oo)￣)^
考点4：比较级
1. 核心要点：比较级的题型会更复杂，常常伴随句子看不懂，需要学会“识别比较对象”以及“前后对比的是平行的结构”2个要点
- 例如：小明妈妈的苹果 more than 小红妈妈
- 这个对比肯定不对，因为对比是苹果，只不过是小明妈妈的苹果，和，小红妈妈的苹果对比
- 上述的例子，一般在英文里面里，会变成：小明妈妈’s apples VS 小红妈妈
- 需要改为：小明妈妈’s apples VS 小红妈妈's（省略前后相同的苹果，用's 代表“的”），对比的对象又重新变成了2个不同妈妈的苹果
基于上述的核心纲领，我们来看Gmat比较级的题型
1）传统比较级表对比：more than、few、less和less of，就如核心要点里，小明妈妈的苹果
2）介词和状语表对比：Unlike、compared to、as
- unlike提型非常简单，首先看unlike后面是否只跟了名词，其实看unlike的名字和主句主语之间是否平行，这个方法可以排除至少2-3个错误答案
3）量词和数词表对标：double、larger
4）连词表对比：as well as
5）无明显修饰词的标对比：如句子中出现了than，但没有别的明显的比较词汇
2. 例题
1）传统比较级
To meet the rapidly rising market demand for fish and seafood,suppliers are growingfish twice as fast astheir natural growth rate, cutting their feed allotment by nearly halfand raising them on special diets.

解析：主句为 suppliers are growing fish VS fish growth naturally，前者是后者的2倍快
A：2个关注点
- A1-伴随是否正确：cutting和rasing平行为主句伴随状语，修饰主句grow，翻译为 supplier cuting and rasing xx
- A2-比较对象是否正确：supplier(S) grow(V) fish(O) VS rate(一个名字），比较对象是不对的
B：同A2不对，且后半句cut和raising不平行
C：2个关注点：
- C1-伴随是否正确：cutting与raising，正确
- C2-比较对象是否正确：supplier(S) grow(V) fish(O) VS growing(V) them(O)，more than后面省略了主语，不知道是谁grow，甚至有可能是supplier grow them，不对
D：2个关注点
- C1-比较对象是否正确：supplier(S) grow(V) fish(O) VS they(S-指代鱼) grow(V) natually(O)，正确
- C2-伴随是否正确：正确

解析：主句为 fossils offer evidence VS evidence yet discovered，某个化石发现的证据，比截止至今发现的证据都还要多，前者比后者多
2个考察点：
- 看黄色部分的the most和more than，在这里the most更合适，因为文章已经说了是比以往任何时刻发现的都多，其实表达的就是the most，所以BCE错
- 在A和D中，A的discover修饰的是evidence，翻译为“至今为止发现的证据”，D的discover修饰birds，翻译为“至今为止发现的恐龙和鸟”（因为是复数，只能去修饰Birds，不能修饰relationship），语意不对
- A正确

B：women(S) reported(V) satisfaction(O)，VS，women，同理，if they were to retire是条件状语，不计入主句成分，对比结构也不对
C：women(S) reported(V) satisfaction(O)，VS，those(S-指代women) so(指代一件事，就是report satisfacton)，一件事对比另外一件事，结构正确

- BCD：engines burn less fuel和emitting lessgas的关系，为伴随，燃烧石油的时候，伴随着gas的排出，选项BCD错误
- A：其次，fuel是不可数的用less，二氧化碳gas是不可数的用less，但是gases是可数的用few，选A
- E：前半段翻译为，engine have a size，不对
2）介词和状语表对比：

A和B：Unlike后的名词和主句主语平行，A、B如黄色部分所示，不可比，they指代用一个香料，用在食物里的和用在药材里的一定不是同一个，这点考察了代词的考点
C：如黄色部分所示，cooking和taking可比
D：
- D1-是否可比：如黄色部分所示，前半句quatities of spices的核心词是spices，后半句也是spices，可比
- D2-whereas是否正确：whereas是连词，可以连接2个句子，前半部分是spices are used，后半句是spices are taken，平行，正确
E：如黄色部分所示，usage和they(指代spices)不可比且指代错误

A：翻译前半段，核心句为ceo的pay earn an average，不对
B：翻译后半段，核心句为ratio compares，ratio不能主动发出compare这个动作，不对
C：ceo的pay earn 419倍蓝领的pay，as compare做状语修饰earn这个动作，the ratio做同位语修饰42times，表示这个42 time是一个1980年的ratio，正确
D：who是定于修饰CEO的pay，as compared 是状语，the ratio一个名词孤零零的放在后面，整个句子不完整，没有谓语动词，不对
E：错误同A
