Full-time Research Assistant Position (1 year, starting in Spring 2022, renewable)

Location: Clear Water Bay campus, Hong Kong
Research Area: Empirical research in the human-machine interaction
Specific Tasks: 1. Conduct large-scale online experiments via Empirica (https://empirica.ly) and Ax (https://ax.dev/).
2. Analyze texts of all revisions in English-language Wikipedia for all pages (about 7 terabytes, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia: Database_download)
Expected Qualifications: 1. Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
2. Proficient in JavaScript and Python
3. Proficient in data collection, data cleaning, and exploratory analysis
4. Web development experience (a plus, not necessary)
5. Data analysis experience via cloud services such as AWS (a plus, not necessary)
