graveteiro是一种鸟名，前句的主语也是bird，两个句子之间没有连词，而只是用逗号隔开？这是为什么呢？

好像是这样：
第一句 A South American...是解释graveteiro是什么的，正常的语序应该是graveteiro is a South American...，而选项E中graveteiro后面的which...修饰graveteiro,再后面的a group of...修饰的是紧邻的the ovenbird family。所以A South American...提前了，就用逗号隔开了。不知道这样解释对不对，呵呵。

答案上也是这么说的就是，但是这样改的话应该就是有点像同位语吧，这样的话不就是不对么

如果换成: G，a south american bird, belongs to...

是不是就清晰些？

不好意思挖了那么久的帖子，我还是不明白同位语的结构。一般来说同位语都是：LiMing, a teacher of xx university, is a kind guy. 两个逗号之间的是同位语，起到了一个补充说明的作用。可是A south American bird, G belongs to... 这句话里面A south...做了同位语，还可以这样同位语前置的嘛？这是我第一次看到

其實句首同位語滿多的，只是多數放在句首時都是短的職業職稱且沒有逗號，
但同位語是可以放在句首句中和句尾的。

舉個栗子：
A leading figure in the Scottish Enlightenment, Adam Smith wrote two major books that are to democratic capitalism what Marx's Das Kapital is to socialism.
