请教Prep上的一道语法题

请教：1. a circumstance修饰句子中的哪个成分呢？ 2. B选项和E选项because错误的原因，prep上解释是“用because引导的原因状语从句来表示方式太过于累赘”，我看了看，是不是可以这样解释：because引导的原因状语从句，主句部分不完整。B选项的主句部分只有a circumstance （后面成分都是修饰a circumstance 的）；E选项的主句部分只有contributing to their depletion 。
3. 真是考试的语言难度跟prep的语言难度相比，如何？

句子中 as there are for cod and haddock是插入语，
主干是There are no legallimits on the size of monkfish that can becaught。
1、 a circumstance 是同位语。
2、 B、E里面都已经有contribute to 了。导致什么什么。用because有点多此一举了吧。而且B里面有being，这个GMAT中几乎全错，除了偶尔偶尔的几道对。
3、 prep算是简单的吧。

如果prep算简单，需要再做什么样的练习来保证适应真实考试呢

这种同位语一般会选择一个范围比所代替词大的词。circumstance就是环境之类的，你感觉一下~~~不需要完全找它替代谁，直觉啊直觉~~~~嘿嘿

GWD接近真实考试。
不过还是循序渐进的好。OG——PREP——GWD用来最后一个月模考。

B选项和E选项错误的原因首先不是because，而是unlike的用法。

e是因为legal size limits on catching monkfish是错的吧。unlike 后面加简单的名词词组

a circumstance是独立主格

这种同位语独立主格结构
1.COMMA + ABSTRACT NOUN is allowed to stand for the ENTIRE IDEA OF THE PRECEDING CLAUSE.
Comma+抽象名词是用来解释说明前面句子的，是同位语独立主格结构
2.examples:
the coach tried to put 5 receivers on the line, a strategy that failed.
--> here, "a strategy" (an ABSTRACT noun) stands for the WHOLE IDEA of putting 5 receivers on the line.
X observed large concentrations of metals in the sediments, findings consistent with...
in this case, "findings" (an abstract noun) stands for the WHOLE IDEA of observing large concentrations of blah blah blah.
on the other hand,
2.COMMA + CONCRETE NOUN usually stands for the DIRECTLY PRECEDING NOUN. 如果是comma+具体名词，那就是指代前面出现过的这个词
compare:
（1）i went to the bar with john smith, a consultant in los angeles.
here, "a consultant" (a CONCRETE noun) refers ONLY to "john smith" (the preceding noun).
（2）i went to the bar with john smith, an excursion that was much more fun than working all night.
here, "an excursion" (an ABSTRACT noun) stands for the WHOLE IDEA of going to the bar with john smith.
