我这里 ESADE 老校友又来发帖了。
因为nCov Virus的问题，现在很多学弟学妹都来戳我们问今年申请的情况是否会有变化，我们几位校友专门去问了招生官Mary今年的情况，给大家分享一下~
Dear Friends in China,
I am writing to let you know that unfortunately I am in the process of cancelling my upcoming trip to Beijing & Shanghai due to the coronavirus situation. After meeting with the Admissions Director today, we would like to assure you that we will try to facilitate the process for all China-based candidates, with the following steps:
1) We understand that the GMAT/GRE/IELTS/TOEFL are not going to be offered in China during the month of February, and perhaps longer. If you have already taken the GMAT but were planning to retake, we encourage you to submit the application with the current score. We will be as flexible as possible to allow time for a retake if the Admissions Committee approves your profile but wants to see a higher GMAT, and move forward if the current score is acceptable.
2) The same flexibility will be shown for the language exams when possible (i.e. if you have a 6.5 IELTS for example, we may require an in-house language test in lieu of retaking the IELTS).
PLEASE NOTE: CEMS requirements are stricter and established by all CEMS institutes so we cannot show flexibility with the CEMS language requirement
3) If your intention was to retake the GMAT to improve your scholarship chances, we want to give you time to retake, so although normally scholarship funds have run out before the final deadline, we have reserved scholarship funds and earmarked them for China-based candidates, so there should be scholarship money through the whole process
4) If you have temporary delays in getting your transcripts, we will be flexible and will proceed with the admissions process (please note, however, that if there is some issue upon eventual delivery of the transcript, the admission may be voided)
5) Payment deadlines for China-based candidates admitted from today on will be extended (from 3 to 6 weeks) to allow you time to make arrangements and decisions
6) We will reserve some places in all programs for China-based students, so that you have extra time to apply for the 2020 intake
***Having said all this - please do try to apply early if your application is complete and prepared, to allow flexibility to those who may be having difficulties***
***any candidates who have already confirmed their interviews will be contacted individually to schedule a videoconference***
